Pet Dentistry

Dental health is one of the most important and overlooked areas of your pet’s well-being.  A healthy mouth will prevent other health problems including renal, liver, and cardiac infections in your pet.  We offer dental prophylaxis for your dog and cat year-round. Dental prophylaxis will improve the quality and extend the life of your pet.

Pet In-House Laboratory Testing

We perform diagnostic blood testing in-house for quicker diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of your pet. This allows us to know what we are treating as quickly as possible. Early intervention is often the key to a quick response to treatment.

A vet scanning dog's microchip

Pet Microchipping

Pet microchipping is a simple and safe procedure that involves implanting a small microchip under your pet’s skin, typically between the shoulder blades. This microchip provides permanent identification, including your contact information, so your pet can easily be reunited with you should they ever become lost.

A vet examines a dog

Pet Ophthalmology

Preserving our pet’s vision in a pain-free manner is of utmost importance. Our advanced machine can be used to measure pressures within the eye which allows diagnosis of eye conditions such as glaucoma. The turnover machine also aids in helping manage many chronic ophthalmic conditions. We perform many ophthalmic surgeries such as “cherry eye” surgery, entropion correction, eyelid masses, and enucleation (eye removal).

A veterinarian performs an ultrasound examination

Pet Ultrasound

Ultrasound is another part of our diagnostic services. We have an in-hospital ultrasound unit as well as a portable machine. Often an ultrasound exam can help diagnose early pregnancies and even help with obtaining a fetus count. Ultrasound is a non-invasive look into your animal. It has become an invaluable tool for performing better veterinary medicine.
