This place is wonderful! Dr. Woodward was caring and thoroughly examined my dog even though we only needed advice regarding a procedure another vet told us my “baby” needed. She spent a lot of time explaining what was needed all the while holding my dog and talking to him. I would give 10 stars if available.

We are so lucky to have Dr. Woodward and her staff close by. She’s an excellent doctor and has gone out of her way to work with us, even not charging for unnecessary tests when money was tight (we have three pets, which can be a very expensive visit). She made a very difficult diagnosis when my little dog was very ill and saved my other dog when she swallowed an unknown substance, which we discovered later was poisonous. We had no appointment when this happened, and we just drove up in a panic. They saw her right away and did the right thing to save her with very little information. I highly recommend Island Animal Clinic—we wouldn’t think of taking our babies anywhere else!

Rescue-friendly and very good with cats. We had a conjunctivitis case and got a salve that made a difference after the first day! Other vets gave eyedrops that have had no effect in similar cases. Dr. Woodward was phenomenal and kind to both us and our kitten. It was obvious that she actually cared, unlike many vets who are just in it for the cash. Thank you, Dr. Woodward!

Great staff. Dr. Ryan was very patient and took the time to explain all about my cats’ problems. After blood work he recommended we not proceed, which I greatly appreciated.
